"God" being all knowing is to us as if we were looking across our dining room table. A flat plain with the creation of Heaven and earth on one end of the table and eternity on the other end. He knows all things and there is nothing we can do or think that he doesn't see. Our lives are as a open book, all our good and all our evil. Where are your riches today? God has blessed me with riches that money can't buy, and I thank Him for them every day.

The ground of a certain richman brought forth plentifully: and he thought within himself, saying, what shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater, and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods, and I will say to my soul, Soul thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul be required of thee: then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Luke chapter 12 verses 16--21, 34, 31
The days of our lives are filled with opportunities to help and be a witness for Christ Jesus.  Will he say to you "Well done my Good and Faithful Servant enter into the joy's of Heaven that I have prepared for you"? Please don't forget "The least of these my Brethren". When I wrote this song my Heart was aiming its message straight at me, and over 7 years later it still does. What will you do with Jesus today?

The Richman

Lord have mercy on the richman
Rich in this day and time
All this world has to offer
Is a superficial state of mind
Oh but it can not give you
Give you what you need inside
Lord have mercy on the richman
Rich in this day and time
Jesus fulfilled his promise
For our sins he gave his life
Oh but the rest is in our hands
We've got to lead them into the light
We're all in this together
Yes and that you can rely
Lord have mercy on the richman
Rich in this day and time
Build your treasures where your heart is
There's a place of eternal life
And you know the best thing about it all is
It doesn't cost one single dime
It's free for the taking
All you need is a humble mind
Lord have mercy on the richman
Rich in this day and time
Lord have mercy on the richman
For God's riches are yours and mine
